感谢MM回复，我开始也是打算给副卡，后来想，提前开个学生卡，是不是可以更早开始攒信用分呢？

哪种会比较好呢？如果考虑攒信用分，是不是开个孩子自己的卡更好？ 谢谢回复。

副卡小孩生下来就该开了。小孩上大学是就有十几年credit history. 现在如果是可以自己开的话就两个都开把，no downside.

I think this is probably true now.
I remember checking my kids credit scores finding they had scores over 800 even though they don't have their own CC while attending colleges. They were added as authorized users after they were born. I gave issuers the kids SSN even though they were not required. I believe it helped their credit history.
