从被裁员工角度来说,被裁继续找工作好还是减少现有包裹继续在微软好? 是不是被减少包裹后,大部分也就开始重新找工作了,骑驴找马,降薪绝对是很痛苦的。

因为微软不是一个coherent 的公司,是一大堆中号的独立王国. 这就是为啥微软内部transfer 的loop 和external hire 差不多。
做操作系统的,做云的,做office 的, dynamics 的, browser 的, search 和广告的,visual studio 的,各种数据库的,政府服务的,device 的,其他各种server products的,DC运营的。。。这几年扩招不一样,受这次大环境的影响也不一样。微软自己是一个四十多年大的ecosystem, product variety 比别的大厂要大的多。所以很难有个coherent 的policy。

Organizational structure eventually decides technical architecture … 之所以bar 不一样是果,不是因。因就是每个CVP一直到以前的所谓PUM下面产品variation 太大。
一边裁一边招会被告的。即使裁过头了要补人,也是要优先召回被裁员工。

楼主真是年轻,年景不好的时候,裁员就是一轮接一轮,而且一般第一轮的package最好。这就叫高风险高回报。高科技本身就是每过10年左右会经历一次。见多就不霹雳了。
