我感觉这个不仅仅语言的问题,应该还有文化和思维方式的问题,哎,天生没这根弦,可是为了职业发展,还是得硬着头皮上。
说中文应该会好一些,至少说错话的几率少。
举几个例子,有一次组会上老板问team 对工作的反馈意见,我就提意见说有一个工作模版没有及时更新,导致工作需要返工,当时正好主管这个工作的PM缺席,第二次会议她诚恳地向大家道歉了自己的疏忽,我也不清楚她是不是知道我说了那些,但是我很紧张不知道当众说那些是否合适,搞得我像背后说人坏话一样,尽管确实自己的工作又受到了影响,尽管我的初衷只是想提供一些feedback.
还有个例子,我花了很多心血搞了一个平台,其实很好用能让工作节省很多时间,但是需要一些learning curve,而且有一些limitations。结果组会我一开口就讲那些potential 的limitations,导致最后愿意换到这个平台的人很少,这就相当于自己否定自己,不是么?
第一个例子要看你是怎样描述问题的,另外就是你提出问题的时候知不知道主管人员不在场。如果主管人员不在场,确实会给人背后打报告的嫌疑。 第二个例子不是很清楚你说的限制是啥,所以不太好评论。你当时是出于什么原因主动陈述各类限制呢?另外,即使你没陈述这些限制,你觉得会有多少人尝试那个有一定学习曲线的平台?很多时候,重要的不是你觉得你做的东西是否有用,而是别人觉得你做的东西是否有用。
这两个例子都不是语言的锅,中文讲出来也不合适啊。第一个可能嘴快,第二个你完全有时间提前准备,下一次改进就行了。
这种人估计天生少根筋
第一个例子其实不算啥,只要你在说的时候,做好铺垫,说一下只是一个小小建议,没有blame的意思。pm后来道歉,你也可以私下里去再解释一下,你没有blame的意思。
第二个是presentation的技巧。你在心里要真的知道你的工具真正的好处是什么。也许你讲了很多细节,但好处没能一两句花先讲清楚。limitation在第一次推销的时候可以弱化,或者不讲,或者讲也说一下你还在改进,或者别人问的时候再简单的讲一下。这个是有书的,可以看看一本叫”3 -minute rule”,很多书都有讲怎么pitch ideas
