+1 重点是underrepresented，不是总人数多少 假如西裔人口占20%但是大学录取占5%， 那就是underrepresented；亚裔人口占5%但是大学录取占20%，就是over represented。 To be honest我觉得亚裔可以多盯盯entertainment体育之类亚裔underrepresented的地方，不用天天和西裔黑人计较大学录取那点URA。这次上次奥斯卡这次金球奖就很好，亚裔演员大方光彩；还有最近很多很火的青少年网剧比如the summer i turned pretty 主演开始找亚裔，还有HBO的白莲花度假村第二季有个戏份很重的亚男主角（不是diversity花边），这对亚裔青少年的身份建立很有作用

你说的这个“环境”，也主要是硬学术和白领工作上吧（for lack of a better word)，媒体上的存在感西裔比我们强很多，主流媒体，好莱坞，等等。 亚裔为自己发声的也很多，但是不容易得到西裔那样的重视，除非是特别恶性的事件，这也侧面显示了部分白人的虚伪，私认为。

话说西方人说工作都是一视同仁，无论白领还是蓝领，但是所谓的提高少数族裔，都是白领工作，她们也知道蓝领辛苦，坐办公室舒服呗，总觉得很虚伪。

但是比较扯的是 华人在很多高科技白领行业representation比人口比例高不是visa filter的结果么 发visa的时间只有stem 高学历的能留下来 回头又说你们over represented

同意应该反对stereotype，可是我冒昧觉得这些buzzword很表面，用了它们就踩了坑了，我不同意现在西方对于一些种族的政策，就要被打成white adjacent吗（不是说亲，版上确实有这样的人）
跟你没有任何关系好吗。你去查一下federal对minority的定义，asian从来不在内。你孩子上学申请一个针对minority的奖学金都不符合规定哦。

是的。亚裔什么都没有。 这个是跟各个族裔的总体基数比的。
说到底还是得人口数量上去才行。还是像广东福建这种移民越多越好。
