i want to know how CBT can help with insomnia too. My sleep doctor is recommending it to me, I am very skeptical of it. I wake up every morning around 2-5am, and have a hard time to fall back to sleep even though i am very sleepy. Sleep study showed that I don't have apnea, etc, only minor snoring is detected, and other than those, nothing can explain why I wake up in the middle of the night every day. OTC sleep aid only works half night on me, so I chose to take one pill when I woke up, but I don't want to rely on sleep aid every day.
