中国护照从LHR transit 是24hrs. Not allowed to exit the airport unless you have visa.
我是不打算checkin bag的。但是我的飞机到terminal 3然后从terminal 5离开，这样是不是必然得过海关了

不清楚你这两个terminal的情况，但是当年我飞ba第一段飞机延误，改签航班以后必须在希思罗换terminal过海关，所以是有过海关的可能性的，你还是跟航空公司好好确认一下

no，不免签。是transit不需要英国签证，和绿卡不绿卡没关系。
