一个实习的proposal，里面用机器学习的方法，SVM，来预测房价。 结果一个评委的评语是 A well-structured machine learning approach for housing price prediction. Excellent plans for data collection. Not sure if svm will still should be in the running.

20年前好多人用svm，现在还有人用这个吗。过时了。不都是追deep leaning?

谢谢大家。 为什么舆论都认为deep learning会好使呢？
deep learning的前面那些步骤不就是图像变型吗。真正的学习，不还是后面的neural network。 这个neural network和svm性能差不了多少。 搞不懂，大家怎么这么迷信deep learning。 deep learning的性能其实很次很次很次。尤其在预测房价领域。只有刚入门的，才会去用deep learning。

学区，年份，面积，等等。zillow，redfin都有它们自己的预测模型。
