这个主要是因为你的母语不是英文，不能以母语的程度去感受英文之美。
我觉得跟语言也有关系。汉语发声比较choppy, 天生朗朗上口。可能是比连成一串儿的语言更适合诗歌这种体裁。而且每个字单独发音且有意义，也比其它语言容易排出整齐的音律。

不要嘲讽英文诗长短不一，汉语里的修辞就是完全照搬的英语。没有丰富的修辞就没有鸿篇巨著！还有很多中国人的习惯引用语，不查不知道，一查才清楚是舶来品：“弱者，你的名字是女人！”，“不要借钱给朋友，你会失去钱财和朋友。”等等。
