in order to get accurate translation, first we need to know what exactly happened that day. for example, did her teacher yell at her? did her teacher laugh at her? did her teacher mad at her? did her teacher blame at her? did her teacher praise her?
Scold不少见啊,lz说的就是应该用scolded,或者口语一点用told someone off 用mad at不准确,首先你并不需要be mad at someone to scold them,其次mad at描述的是老师的emotion,不是action,这种有潜在指责性质的话不适合这么说,会让人defensive
For some reason my daughter doesn't wanna go to school any more saying that her teacher was mad at her last Wed. I would like to know more about what happened and how I can help her out.
要换了我就跟校长说:my little girl told me she didn’t want to go to school anymore, I asked why she then told me her teacher had a serious talk with her. She is only 4 years old I wonder what she has done in her class.
比如小孩儿说我(她妈),她可以说mom gets mad at me..我写的是.......she mentioned to us that the teacher blamed her........xxxxx [还有其它的事情].......But as you know, at her age, she may not express clearly what actually happened....
一上来就指责人家mad at you or my daughter told me blablabla 都只会make things complicated.
The teacher talked to / had a conversation with my daughter. She came back home really upset and wouldn’t go to school next day. I’d like to find out what was going on.
Ms. XX, i just wanted to follow up to see if there’s anything I could do at home to help renforce the rules at school.
就说the teacher probably said a few words to my child and she seemed to be a little upset. She is still too young to articulate well so I am just reaching out to see if there is something we as parents should be aware of and can help.

同意这个,the teacher talked to / had a conversation with her
My daughter told me she felt uncomfortable at the classroom on xxx date, I want to understand what happened that day.

for example, did her teacher yell at her? did her teacher laugh at her? did her teacher mad at her? did her teacher blame at her? did her teacher praise her?

Mr/Ms + last name talked to him/her (about something). 如果具体说了什么就要用特定的词,例如 told, yell at, shout at, blame on, criticize, mad at, 等.
或 Mr. / Ms. + last name said something about me.
除了上面说的scold和told her off,也可以说gave her a talking-to或者was stern with her
就说他不愿上学,说he is upset about sth the teacher said to him.
同意这个,the teacher talked to / had a conversation with her
如果LZ小孩表现不好,闹腾,违规,被老师说,则是mad at me, or upset about me。
