If you want a no-brainer, just buy the ETF: MUB, VTEB... If you want to do a bit more research, then try the CEFs with higher dividend, especially the ones targeted your own state. e,g. for CA you could buy VCV, PZC etc
好吧, 再多说几句 1) Bonds are in the down cycle right now including the muni given that the Fed is raising interest rate; but the tide may be turning now for bonds, especially the long-dated ones 2) It's really depending on your investment goal: if you use bonds/muni to diversify, now could be a good time to buy for longer term 3) I like to keep it simple in investment and that's why I pick ETF/CEF; you could choose individual muni bond - just ask the bond desk/investment advisor of your brokage
