MicroScopic Description:There is a mild to focally moderate, nonspecific infiltrate of chronic inflammatory cells in the superficial lamina propria, predominantly composed of lymphocytes and plasma cells. No active inflammation is identified. Intestinal metaplasia with goblet cells is not identified with PAS/AB. No Helicobacter are identified with the H. pylori immunostain. Rule Outs: A) H.Pylori
