其实利未记里面的律法对犹太人来说也不是按字面来的，犹太人有专门解释怎么执行律法的塔木德，也是与时俱进的。 天主教其实在圣传（tradition）方面也是与时俱进的，教宗对圣经也是有最终解释权的。 恰恰是新教抛弃了对圣经的官方解释权，导致所有人都能解释圣经，而一部分#%*￥只按字面意思来解释圣经，才发展出极端的原教旨主义，号称“圣经无误”。
旧约里的摩西律法（比如你引用的）有613条。这里要区分moral law和positive law（好像后者还有一个不同的词，现在想不起来）。前者表示神对圣洁的心意和标准，后者则是制定出来的法律以求达到目的并带有奖惩条款。前者亘古不变，后者的一部分则会随着上帝救赎计划的进程而发生变动。预表性的律法在以色列人明白道理和耶稣用自己实现以后就失去意义。但上帝本身的道德律是永远树立和永不改变的。

从旧约到新约与罪分离这个原则并没有改变。新约里记载的时间跨度不到一个世纪，远少于旧约，描写了更多的救赎工作。
