他是很出名的黑人画家，跟Andy Warhol有很多合作的作品。
是啊。创新 + 推销 + 运气。最主要的是创新，别人没有这么画过，至少没有这么系统性的画出一种风格来。一旦风格形成，也被市场认可了，后来模仿的都不值钱了。

没关注过白等儿子的作品，如果没有理解错误，这一类属于人情往来。诸如国内名人搞的慈善拍卖，卖的那些狗屁不通的作品。所以这一行水很深，各种人各种目的都有。人情、行贿、洗钱，都有。但严肃认真的收藏家，靠的是眼力，买的是物有所值的、或是真心喜欢的。

对，Jean-Michel Basquiat和Andy Warhol很多collaboration。 Andy死了以后他就一蹶不振，不久就吸毒过量死了。
不过现代艺术我也欣赏不了，不明白为啥能卖那么多钱
