You can do an internal transfer into CS. Because it's an LEP, you have to meet certain gateway requirements before applying to transfer. CS is not space-limited so you just need to complete the requirements and you'll be in. Have a 2.7 GPA Complete CMSC 131, CMSC 132, and MATH 140 (Calc 1) with at least C- You can apply during the semester during which you're completing the requirements, so I believe that you can be a CS major by your second semester at UMD. 这个是真的。现在很多学校的cs系都是先开放给cs专业的选课。然后剩余的位置才给有豁免可以选课的外系学生再选。如果有剩余，再给无要求的任何专业的。我知道的情况是四年前就已经很激烈了。现在应该更激烈了。
