Thank you. I am not sure which aspect of writing to drill in would work best for me. Vocabulary and reciting sounds like a good start to crack down my Chinglish.
I actually don't think chatting in local FB groups is a good practice, many native speakers don't write all the well, I suspect many of them do voice to text as the spelling is often horrendous. Reading fun and quality books/articles is a good way to improve, and you'll need to write essays to express your thoughts and opinions, and then you can find a teacher and have them critique your essay.

Thank you very much! Lot of Huareners can write and read better than Americans. On top of that, I try to watch my mouth and refrain from spilling my critics to those opinionated.
I am comfortable with jargon. The problem lies in my work lacking potency and eloquence. Insufficiency in both vocabulary and grammars can be the causes.

Haha. Stop teasing me. I am more than frustrated seriously.
Hahaha. I hear you. Sometimes we need mesmerized thoughts to feed our brain to evade from the real world. The logics are not the numbing factor for the provision of forums.
Thank you. Getting a proofreading would be ideal. So far I can only think of paid classes where a teacher can rectify my Chinglish. Vocabulary wise, thank you, I still have trouble coaxing the legitimate expression/words out my brain from time to time. Grammar seems never live in me. I will add grammar practices to my daily must do as well.

If you live near a University you can probably find some English major students help you edit/proofreed for a reasonable price. I kept seeing this type of ads on campus when I was a student. Assumed you are not talking about very technical writings.

Thanks. I live no where near a University. Finding one like that from apps shouldn''t be too hard.
Your English is really sophisticated already:)) One thing to try though, find a book you love, find a good translation you like, try to do a reverse translation back to the original, could be a fun exercise.
good. keep trying.
Sending email is my routine. It doesn't really help to improve my writing.
Thank you. :)
Yoshi!
I tried. It didn't work well. I am not introvert/ charming enough to attract Americans with sincerity and patience.
Thank you! Just marked my calendar to recite one WSJ article and read 10 per day as of today.

You bet! Youtube comments are hilarious! LOL
最有用的办法就是精读背诵经典文章,我中学背过新概念英语第三册一些文章发现帮助非常大,第四册大学的时候想背一些但太懒没干,现在读读也不晚,当然年纪大了记忆力衰退,不能静下心来是最大的障碍。
introvert是内向,你想表达extrovert吧。。。
你又不是要找conversation partner,就跟华人上灌水一样,别人说个什么话题你去回复,然后看看别人怎么表达的呗。不需要别人patient
where? please post some good forum for learning English.
Realistic and pragmatic! The only time of the day to meditate or focus on reading is well spent in my bathroom.
Ah..typo...Thanks for correcting my writing. :)
Concur!!!
干嘛不从这贴做起》?直接用英文发帖阿英文回嘛
嗯,先QUIT中文论坛,只上英文论坛,日常生活少和华人来往,主要用英文,包括读书看报社交圈,那肯定稳步提高。

Nay! Huaren is narcotic! I can''t live without :P

Well. This sounds a good starting point.

楼主词汇量相当可以了,我还得去查字典了。我前段时间看一个大咨询公司的报告,三年级的儿子在边上看,我就叫他读,读了一页只有一个字他不认识。其实日常商务用语很少有GRE词汇的,关键还是结构,逻辑,讲清楚。
Gre词汇,几乎用不到,托福贴近生活。

Thank you. GRE vocabulary is way beyond my English proficiency.
Thank you for your advice.
Hahaha.
Seriously? by recitation?
Read WSJ, or any other serious publications.
我自己现在,每天看电视加上网上看新闻还有看剧啥的时间,基本上是跟我看中文(其中包括上华人网)的时间是对分的,这样的好处是,两头的最新热点都能及时赶上,特别适合我这个爱8卦和闲语杂谈的人
想提高英语写作,你找错地方了。
