apologies - can't type chinese at work. it really depends on what's your career path post MBA and what is your current position within big 4. If you are already in managment consulting at big 4 and wanted to go to MBB post MBA, you probably have a good shot at lateral at some point without MBA, so the oppoturnity cost is too high. if your big four job is auditing, then it's definitely worth it to go to top MBA, since any post mba job (whether it's consulting or investment banking) should make considerably more than what you currently make, and you get to have more perspective from the exeprience.
这难道不是创业VS打工的问题？ MBA 创业的偏多啊特别是TOP MBA 资源一大把，有些high profile 的咨询公司只看ToP MBA。 四大senior 不管advisory还是audit, tax, M&A 随便进，给的也没industry多，但靠四大senior转industry更可能比TOp MBA 直接短期拿到更多钱呀。
看了MBA 2021 毕业工资真是吐血了。在去掉Harvard后, top 5 MBA 里面 median 在SF也是 150K。 最好的公司是Mckinsey 和 Amazon. Google 都很少。你真要投 15万tuition 生活费和 15万 lost wage? 何况你已经在MBA里通常的出路和工资了。 MBA过时了， 雇主们已经表态了。

而top mba 也不是top 1 或者2， 可能在top 5以内吧 -
从来没有在四大工作过，也不知道放弃这个战略咨询的senior职位会不会可惜？

不知道别的行业，我只说tech，我的职位能看到公司Payroll信息，会计部门全公司最低，没有之一。 CFO不算。
现在都啥年代了还读mba？ Uiuc的online mba读起来多简单。 现在还脱产去读mba的都脑子不好使吧。

如果不差学费生活费，top mba出来进一线投行，比在四大混强多了。
注意人家是top mba，Harvard wharton这种还是很值得上的。毕业出来投行五年内五十万一年是可能的。

确实，我有个朋友上的wharton，每周都有活动，一年到头都往外飞参加活动，欧洲亚洲跑了好多趟。一年下来除了学费生活费，参加活动social就要再花小十万。求职季，学校安排和各大行的coffee social聊了近百次，毕业就进了一线投行。学习根本不重要，考试都不给打成绩，只看是否通过。要上就上一线MBA，上什么online，part time的MBA才是浪费钱和时间。
UIUC 的MBA和top MBA 差距有点大。而且四大的senior是血汗工厂，业余读MBA会很累。如果不差钱我选Top MBA。
好奇为什么商学院里的accounting教授反而工资最高？
可是如果公司提供学费，就只能eMBA是吗？是不是就是online?

比前台， HR都低吗？
还可以去top商学院读phd, 上升空间大.
我们公司前台都是小时工，不好比，有两个full time office manager工资跟会计差不多，但是人家从不加班。HR现在都叫People，下面有很多team，比如analytics, reward, operation...etc, 同等的职位比会计高，而且也不用加班。我觉得是女生非常好的选择。
top mba现在毕业后去tech的不少。

四大战略咨询工资不低的，各种项目涉及不同行业，是很好的学习机会。
要是我肯定先工作至少一年， 顺便读个在职Top MBA，公司还能报销。
我就说句人话，看看一个 program 里面多少人，肯定大吃一惊。再看看往届生都干嘛去了。~
都快合伙人了，再上MBA也没太大意义了。以后跳槽后再读
