1） 那个楼主的女儿， 没什么优秀的。 就是性别对了。 我也是MIT出来的， 但我高中在中国读的书。 我那水平， 清华是做梦。 南京大学也基本没戏。 我如果在国内参加高考的话， 基本就是个苏州大学的水平。 但我考SAT II， 那是闭着眼睛满分的。 那个楼里， 说什么那女儿那样努力优秀， 进MIT要比进清华难多了。。 我他妈的差点没把吃的饭喷在screen上面。 2） 美国公司也要diversity， 所以我水平不行， 但找个公司混日子， 没什么的。 但我试图去国内公司找过马工工作。。 一个都找不到。 人家不care你的生殖器官是什么。 其实这也是美国长期在走下坡路的原因之一。 还有人上来发帖说， 什么学校很好的女医生， 把她的birth control ring给带反了什么的.. 这也是diversity的一个result。一个国家走下坡路， 就像一个人一天天在变老了一样， 总是慢慢的在creep， 然后你回首一看， 哇， 这么老了。。 一个道理 3） CS 其实是个trade。 就是个蓝翔技校的一门trade。 说白了就是那样。 我回首看看我大学学过的课程， 就二门课程有点用， 6.001, MIT的CS的第一门课程， 让你用scheme 去写东西。 还有一门是 Introduction to algorithm... 我5年读了个 master of engineering， 就这么两们课有点用， 其他什么 multi variable calculous, differential equations, 什么physics， 还要逼着我们去修一定的文科课程。。。 那些简直就是在放屁！ 你想想， 5 年的时间， 就两们课程对你有点用。 那和加州的那些 coding school， 9个月强化训练， 让你有个像样的git hub project， 有什么区别？ Coding is a trade, just like plumbing! Let's say you use that $1６0K and put in SPY. Let's assume 5% annual increase. Your kid gonna have a big chuck of retirement set. Now let's say you put $1６0K in bitcoin.. your kid can have a harem of young muscular boy harem when she reaches the age of 50... 5) 你如果要成为lawyer， doctor，甚至investment banker， 那进好学校， 是值得庆祝。。。 top law firm 只到 top law school去找人。 你一个glorified plumber， MIT， 省省吧。 6) 我MIT毕业， 但我现在最羡慕的女人是从Institute of Santo Domingo 毕业的。。 女人最重要的是什么？ The most important thing for a woman is to be beautiful. 我会毫不犹豫的和她去trade life... 如果隔壁楼主女儿不漂亮的话， 还不如花点钱， 趁早去做点plastic surgery.
