刚刚去fb Long Covid Kids group 搜索了一下covid的得seizure有不少。如果还是查不出原因可以继续查 covid I am wondering if there are any other long haul Covid kids dealing with anything like my son? My son was very healthy and active 10 year old boy. He did have some tummy issues prior to Covid but nothing like we are dealing with now. He had Covid in November. Very mild case until he had a seizure during Covid. After his initial recovery from his Covid infection he started experiencing shortness of breath (they gave him two inhalers), tiredness, nausea and vomiting (spitting up small amounts of vomit). He improved for about 1.5 months (starting at the end of February) then had another seizure in April. At that point he felt terrible for a week. He had nausea and vomited roughly 5 nights out of 7 a week until some time in June. Sometimes these spells lasted for 2-3 hours. He would be so tired and falling asleep but then sit up to vomit (again small amounts of vomit). He also would sometimes get dizzy, chilled, shiver, (no fever), occasionally a headache, and sometimes other random complaints. The vomiting has slowed down but he still has tummy pain/nausea. We have been to two GI doctors and two neurologist and our pediatrician has been involved. We have tried 2-3 meds for the stomach issues- nothing has helped it go away. These meds were meant to target abdominal migraines and one was IBS. He can be in the middle of a fun activity or falling asleep and have stomach pain/nausea. No bowel issues. It doesn’t seem to relate to eating or a certain food. It seems to cycle. It seems doctors aren’t on the same page and they don’t know much about Covid. I am curious if there are others with these issues and also if there are any recommendations for what to do next? It is so frustrating to see him like this and not have any answers still.”

进了ICU就听医生的吧，不要着急。
有没有发烧，是不是febrile seizures啊？如果是的话那应该没事儿。 大过年的，bless孩子快快好！

想起来老大抽也是老公有责任，我在医院打点滴，女儿也发烧，婆婆抱着女儿排队等着看儿医，医院很热，婆婆给她穿厚厚的忘记脱衣服，导致孩子高温抽了，老公忙事去了不在身边，我打着点滴听外边急救说孩子抽了，向门外看一眼原来是我的孩子抱去抢救，吓死我了。不过现在孩子也是很好，学习什么都不错。

我发现美帝循证医学有时候小题大做 这明显是儿童大脑未成熟 产生的高热惊厥 大了就好了 居然骨穿
也不是啊 这楼里很多妈妈包括我朋友的孩子高热惊厥都不会抽骨髓液。楼主宝宝发病时没有高热所以医生多做些检查也是正常的吧。 美国对小孩用药检查比国内谨慎多了 一般情况下都是喝水和吃冰淇凌。
EEG一直包着的。医生告诉我有检测到两个10秒左右的seizure. 然后加了stop seizure 的药。
MRi 说resident 医生读的，说没有问题，晚点或者明天别的更高级的医生读，看看有没有不同。
早点的时候try to 抽骨髓血，没有抽到。晚上老公知道这种要打全麻坚决不同意。
还是要抽啊， 不然不知道是不是脑膜炎引起的。 最好别耽误。 耽误治病比全麻一次严重多了。
说是全麻但是很快的 5分钟就搞定 没有副作用

全麻没什么的，中国的麻醉技术极为落后所以中国人谈麻色变，美国的麻醉师不会的。
下午做了，没有抽到。晚上爸爸介入，我不愿意发生冲突，而且医生说要确认再没有seizure 今晚可能不做。明天白天吧
并不是，楼主娃没高烧就惊厥，很需要仔细查一查。我娃是高烧惊厥，并没有做楼主描述的那些检查更没进icu。而且现在她娃还在昏睡，还是听医生的吧。希望只是虚惊一场。
