求问离职以后dependent care和medical FSA还可以claim回来吗?

今年2月下旬离职的,dependent care和medical FSA在前公司两个月一共存了接近500吧。年底想着去file claim,结果发现这两账户已经找不到了。。。问了前公司HR,给了我Alight的客服号码,让我自己打电话去问。前HR还挺好心的提醒我要在明年4月30前claim掉。结果打电话客服说必须在今年的4月30号之前claim完,现在已经晚了。。。求问这种说法合理吗?从来没有听说过这种说法啊!娃一直上daycare,所以可以找到1月份的学费receipt。。。求问懂行的mm这钱还有要回来的可能吗?

Just went through this. The answer is it depends on your company policy. You can call your HR (or whichever company helps manage the FSAs) to get clarification
In my case, they allow me to use the Childcare FSA till the end of the month (while Healthcare FSA is only valid till my last day) I ended up having about 2k in my childcare FSA when I left.
However, when I recently logged back into my account, I found they extend it till the end of 2022. My guess is that the COVID-19 Relief Act surpasses the company policy.

一般来说 Health care FSA和Dependent Care FSA 都是你离职之后久失效了,今年还有COVID relief所以有延长

我前公司规定离职当月月底之前必须花完,claim完,下个月1号账号就被关了
