On one side, Hierarchy in Chinese culture is dominating, even in western companies aboard. on the other side, young generations of Chinese(incl. studied abroad) really lack of respect or gratitude i.e. acting quite selfish sometimes and take grant of those who help them, that's the conflict thus a huge gap. There's a huge difference if I compare those behaviors to local/western young newcomers, also people from Japan/Singapore/Malaysia/Taiwan. Of my experience, I don't want to be attached to these young guys(even their parents in China are complaining to me).
