急需renew美国护照 求最快的方法

如题 网上说要up to 12 months

刚去办的，邮局给的收据写着routine service 6 weeks

现在可以邮寄换护照了，不用去邮局排队

Up to 12 weeks 还差不多.是不是写错了……

去当地passport agency.. 一大早排队。现在COVID 不太知道

写错了吧，怎么可能12个月，我们这里是up to 16 weeks，但是你可以付加急费，好像两个礼拜可以拿到。

7月办，没有加急，9月底收到

凭国际旅行机票两周内可以加急办理。 找当地的护照办理局， 她们会帮你推荐办理机构。三天可取。

几个月前， WSJ有相关的报道，说是有个环节涉及Citi，效率非常低，造成护照的大幅延期，当时的确是12个月。最近已经大幅改善，但是估计具体 时间还是有运气的成分。我们家是去年12月递出去的，大概7月份收到的。

我这边是up to16 weeks….

目前续或者换护照是时间特别久，所以都留出足够时间才好。我四月份续护照都用了两个月，还是在加急的情况下。

不知道这12个月18个月的消息哪来的。“Effective September 23, routine service can take up to 16 weeks from the day an application is submitted to the day a new passport is received.  Expedite service (for an additional $60) can take up to 12 weeks from the day an application is submitted to the day a new passport is received. 去邮局交钱办个加急的，很快不用一个月好像

加急去附近passport agency, 记得好像是3-5天能拿到

8月初办的，9月底收到，没加急

有agency 交钱办加急，根据机票时间最快第二天就能取

我记得上次我是在邮局弄的 2-3周 我老公因为马上要travel 到local一个地方办的 第二天就可以取了

每个地方不一样进度，我们这里最近都是将近两个月。
最快的办法就是去离你最近的passport center。约一大早的，最快下午就能给你。
