A. E. Housman, ‘Shake Hands, We Shall Never Be Friends, All’s Over’. Shake hands, we shall never be friends, all’s over; I only vex you the more I try. All’s wrong that ever I’ve done or said, And nought to help it in this dull head: Shake hands, here’s luck, good-bye … A. E. Housman (1859-1936) wrote very powerfully about lost and hopeless love, and this poem is a fine example of how he transmuted personal unhappiness (he fell in love with Moses Jackson, a fellow student at Oxford, as an undergraduate) into great poetry. Although this is a fine poem about breaking up – or, more accurately, parting from somebody who doesn’t like you in that way – the loyalty expressed in the second stanza is touching and heartfelt. Shake hands, we shall never meet again, all’s over; You only vex me the more you try. All’s wrong that ever you’ve done or said, And nought to help it in this dull head: Shake hands, here’s luck, good-bye …

Today I realized, you don't care anymore. And then I realized, you probably never did anyways. And the saddest part of it all is that you made me believe you did.

Since there’s no help, come let us kiss and part. Nay, I have done, you get no more of me; And I am glad, yea glad with all my heart, That thus so clearly I myself can free. Shake hands for ever, cancel all our vows, And when we meet at any time again, Be it not seen in either of our brows That we one jot of former love retain. Now at the last gasp of Love’s latest breath, When, his pulse failing, Passion speechless lies; When Faith is kneeling by his bed of death, And Innocence is closing up his eyes— Now, if thou wouldst, when all have given him over, From death to life thou might’st him yet recover! by Michael Drayton.
When we two parted In silence and tears, Half broken-hearted To sever for years, Pale grew thy cheek and cold, Colder thy kiss; Truly that hour foretold Sorrow to this. The dew of the morning Sunk chill on my brow— It felt like the warning Of what I feel now. Thy vows are all broken, And light is thy fame; I hear thy name spoken, And share in its shame. They name thee before me, A knell to mine ear; A shudder comes o'er me— Why wert thou so dear? They know not I knew thee, Who knew thee too well— Long, long shall I rue thee, Too deeply to tell. In secret we met— In silence I grieve, That thy heart could forget, Thy spirit deceive. If I should meet thee After long years, How should I greet thee?— With silence and tears.

Wasted Years 2014 eventually my heart stopped beating for you it took some time but my heart stopped aching for you they say moving on is difficult but so many say this without truly trying without actually making an effort to walk away from everything that no longer deserves their presence and so I took my things left behind what I couldn't carry burned most of what we had and the rest got buried I needed more of what you refused to provide I wanted to be with someone who was nothing like you A little poem I came across might not fit perfectly.
最有名的应该是When You Are Old了吧。https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/43283/when-you-are-old
版权属版上口罩贴 you die I die everyone die所有 😂
Farewell My Concubine
One jade pendant, Broken into two, You keep half, I keep half See each other no more
Shake hands, we shall never meet again, all’s over; You only vex me the more you try. All’s wrong that ever you’ve done or said, And nought to help it in this dull head: Shake hands, here’s luck, good-bye …
LOL
And then I realized, you probably never did anyways.
And the saddest part of it all is that you made me believe you did.
A piece of jade Beat in two halves Half of you, half of me Never see each other
by Michael Drayton.

eventually my heart stopped beating for you it took some time but my heart stopped aching for you
