Government or higher education systems allow higher contributions than this number to 401 (not 401K) for a single employee. I guess there is no upper limit.

There are no income limits for Traditional IRAs,1 however there are income limits for tax deductible contributions. There are income limits for Roth IRAs. As a single filer, you can make a full contribution to a Roth IRA if your modified adjusted gross income is less than $124,000 in 2020. traditional是可以降低agi的 The money deposited into a traditional IRA reduces your adjusted gross income (AGI) for that tax year on a dollar-for-dollar basis, assuming it is within the annual contribution limits (see below). 2 So a qualifying contribution of, say, $2,000 could reduce your AGI by $2,000, giving you a tax break for that year.

irs 网站 Here are the traditional IRA phase-out ranges for 2021: $66,000 to $76,000 – Single taxpayers covered by a workplace retirement plan. $105,000 to $125,000 – Married couples filing jointly. This applies when the spouse making the IRA contribution is covered by a workplace retirement plan. $198,000 to $208,000 – A taxpayer not covered by a workplace retirement plan married to someone who's covered. $0 to $10,000 – Married filing a separate return. This applies to taxpayers covered by a workplace retirement plan.

Has 7000
Medical insurance cafeteria plan.
Medical/dental/vision insurance for family: 10K? 401K for people over 50: 52000 HSA family: 6000 Dependent flexible spending: 5000
traditional ira tax deduction income limits 2021 joint filler $105000
HSA 不是 use it or lose it 主要是存起来将来退休后医疗费用的; 和 FSA 不一样, 还可搭配起来用 HSA + Limited FSA 当年的基本preventional medical 费用就差不多cover

https://www.irs.gov/retirement-plans/retirement-plans-faqs-regarding-iras-contributions
ours is 401a
https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/new-income-ranges-for-ira-eligibility-in-2021
mark
thx for the summary
反正我家的只能cover up to 3 year.
