Unfortunately... They had decided that due to org changes, I was no longer allowed to start on our agreed upon start date, and they pushed back the start date by two weeks. “Sure, no problem” I said. Then, a few days before the *second* start date, they decided that the position was no longer needed and I am out of a job (before I even started). I did not fail my background check. Nor did I ever act in any manner that would cause a company to rescind their offer like this. Yet, here I am back on my job search because I have already left my previous company. I gave my notice over 6 weeks ago now when I first signed the offer letter. So what I am trying to say is… how can a company, especially one as large as Tesla, play with our lives like this? If anyone from Tesla wants to reach out and tell me how in the world this is ethical, I would love to hear it. To everyone else, If anyone knows of a need for a full stack software engineer, please feel free to reach out. Advice would be appreciated as well! — Pretty shitty thing to do Tesla...
