A B.C. company has been fined thousands of dollars following a guilty plea involving the illegal import of fins from a threatened species of shark. Kiu Yick Trading Co. Ltd. was sentenced to pay a $60,000 in a B.C. court Tuesday, after representatives pleaded guilty to an unlawful import allegation. Environment and Climate Change Canada said in a statement the business plead guilty following a three-year investigation into the company’s alleged importation of several thousand of silky sharks fins.

还有海参，燕窝，我也搞不懂为什么这么受推崇，价格还老贵。
燕窝最坑，且不说那些假的燕窝，就是真的燕窝，也基本就是碳水化合物和一些劣质蛋白质，还不如鸡蛋豆腐的蛋白质容易被人体吸收。被商家包装广告，变成补品。
所以到底是怎么开始说燕窝鱼翅是补品的...不能理解
主要就是过去物以稀为贵呗。过去只是有钱人家可以消费起的东西，后来老百姓有钱了也能消费了，就感觉自己也是有钱阶级了。

真有。。。当时一个中餐厅被举报了，警察去查封发现私自打猎割下来的熊掌冻在冰箱里。好像说只有老客户才能吃，菜单都没有。
同感。之前有次在国内什么高大上的餐馆吃了六十块一笼的小笼包，好好的灌汤小笼包有这个身价就因为顶上撒了几颗鱼子，问题是还难吃得不行。
以前穷的时候听人家说香槟和鱼子酱都觉得无比高大上，等真的吃到了，感觉好失望啊。
真是糟粕。这些鲨鱼被割掉鱼鳍就扔进大海痛苦死去。简直没有人性！我从来没吃过也永远不会吃鱼翅！++1

海参很难烧的。
随园食谱说，鸡鸭鱼肉是壮士，因为自带鲜香，每一样都可以独立撑起一盘菜，配菜做点缀；海参是小人，本身没有鲜味，而且腥味还重，必须靠其他食材加鲜去腥。
海参也不是啥保护动物，营养价值也有待考证。蛋白质挺高的。
