Sacraficium intellectus is such an interesting term also, when you sacrifice intelligence, you really become dumb, and open to superstition. Unfortunately a lot of religious people - not all - fall for that, so their faith becomes superstition.

Perhaps God is about the nature/universe, man, all things, and beyond. When church goers during worship are separetd by expensive walls amd kept away from nature things like beautiful flowers/bids/trees/fresh-sir/sunlight/etc , likely something is missing. When church building after worship is locked and closed to homeless (wo)men suffering in cool/raining days by expensive walls, likely God is missing too!
Perhaps when people can use religious ways to neglect or separate from real world problems, (even if not cause more societal and political problems, ) that already could be a big problem. Maybe philosophy should be more practical, like a practical philosophy e.g. Stoicism, and be used to solve/overcome human and societal probllems, like economy and politics.
Peacebuilding: My religion is Stoicism, believing God is the Universe/Nature, Natural Law (Spirituality), and all things (inc. Jesus) and beyond (inc. mysteries), as explained and searched by science and rationality.

Q A study in 2018 estimated that 38% of the population are not members of any religious organization or denomination,[221] though up to a third may still consider themselves religious. Irreligion in Germany is strongest in the former East Germany, which used to be predominantly Protestant before the enforcement of state atheism, and in major metropolitan areas. UQ Q Australia has one of the lowest levels of religious adherence in the world.[305] In 2018, 13% of women and 10% of men reported attending church at least weekly. UQ

Personally, I don"t think Jesus was very welcome by religious worship places in his age, as he is not much a person of any religions, besides criticisms - AFAIK. Therefore, he was preaching in market places and in wilderness, perhaps not often preaching inside nice walls of worship building. Maybe Christian actually means Jesus-likeness as in Greek bible, instead of Christ-likeness as in human-made theology. Christ should be and must be unique as an once-for-ever for-all event, theologically speaking, whereas Jesus-likeness can be many many, whether or not learning from Jesus (being wholely part of God), bible, or anything else, or any religion else. (cf. Acts)
Sacraficium intellectus(sacrifice of the intellect就是迷信)而是建立在razio(ration理智)之上。

Me too, but I don''t wanna go for superstition either
