这个是要专业的人士来安装还是自己也能装？不用的时候拆下来容易吗？
只要你的车有2“Hitch，自己装拆很方便。 我们家每周都全家去公园骑单车，一个人就能拆装，几分钟搞定， 很容易。最重要是先拆装一半，再弄另一半。否则太重。
如果没有2”hitch，请到dealer去装一个。最好不要去U-Haul装Hitch，手艺太粗糙。

普通车用rack就好了，比较专业骑行的用platform或者车顶的多，固定轮子的车之间不容易蹭上，那些人一辆车都是5、6千，qaut应该是比较top的选择
自重方面thule那个rack更轻，35磅，kuat外加扩展重量要91磅
但是kuat的支撑更强一些，加到4辆车时差别不大了
我们也是买的这个牌子。Platform 装和卸自行车都很方便。 之前我们看的是Curt家的4-bike platform，HomeDepot 就可以买。不过review不太好，最后放弃了。装到SUV上还是挺费劲的。
我的dealer 推荐去U-Haul
那如果U-Haul问你要不要改线路将来可装拖车灯，千万别改。
全钢的plateform架子看上去很重（60-80磅），但只要是两两分拆式的，一次装一半 其实很轻松。我都是出去玩时才装上，玩回来立马拆掉，一周装拆两三次，根本不费事。
干嘛这么频繁的拆装？车库不够长？
俺买的第一个架子就是挂式的，一刹车就各种碰撞。 还有一次半路上固定的塑料条断了，幸好是local。 还有每次往上放单车都麻烦得很。后来果断退货买了platform， 真是没有对比就不知道什么是好设计。
挂着的你得用带子绑上，跟固定kayak的带子是一样的。我另外还在架子的竖梁上装了泡沫防止跟那边蹭上。另外还有一个是脚蹬子别在轮子里，我有一辆车的脚蹬子是金属带尖儿的。
是啊。再说拆装也容易。
如果用的不是很频繁，这些都是挺好的办法。像我这样每周一两次 全家去公园溜单车，就觉得platform省心方便很多。反正俺用过之后再也不会 回到单车挂架去了。俺退掉挂架之后先买了一个两车plateform，后来孩子可以 跟着骑了又买了4车的plateform，都很省心。

挂的单车多了就麻烦了。
建议买Stromberg Carlson（$240）的，见俺的推荐帖。 可先用一半，装两车（还有一车放SUV后箱）。 等孩子长大了再把另一半装上。

看我22楼的照片，honda odyssey，我自己装的trailer hitch, 那个要力矩扳手，建议还是找一家店装。然后装bike hitch rack可以自己装，不熟悉的话只能找店里买了，具体的使用需要自己琢磨一下，包括上紧的锁，用过了就熟悉了
