There are people who can't get vaccine due to health reasons (organ transplant, pregnant, autoimmune disease). Even if someone is vaccinated, there is no 100% protection. If you can offer even 1% extra protection to people around you, why not do it? Are you that selfish? If you are, my statement remains: fuck off.

if non vaccinated people aren't wearing masks (for example because they simply don't want to) and they catch the virus, or any other virus, wouldn't it just be their fault and responsibility? Vaccinated people won't be able to get corona, right?

还有在公共场合很多时候谁知道你有没有打疫苗，口罩规定比较容易执行。
没错，当时Fauci一口咬定不需要戴口罩，没法理解。这么高级的科学家
说明科学家也敌不过主流culture惯性和peer pressure。当时美国那么多医学专家，除了亚裔的，有几个人提出戴口罩了？几乎没有。WHO, CDC，Surgeon General，Fauci异口同声，口罩没用，有害。没有人敢提出与主流相反的意见。
就像现在的global warming一样，谁敢提出相反意见，那就是career suicide。所以，没有几个科学家敢质疑global warming，都随大流。
打了育苗 还要求要核酸呢。。。
CDC 看来只是被动的看数据， 然后分析预测， 没有任何前瞻性， 这一点确实水平太低了。
回过头来看， 我相信大部分人会支持更为严格的 lockdown.
所以， 运气也好， 制度也好，无论如何， 中国抗疫成了最优解之一。
