这阵子看到美国新闻电视 ABC NBC CBS、英国BBC新闻… 也天天都报道：前阵子印度，开始大规模的竞选聚会 和 大型宗教节日沐浴活动，过去几天每天新冠 Covid 感染数30多万，下周甚至可能更多……
好像英国已经发现那里的变异病例、暂停航班了。 另外一个欧洲国家也有发现过路的旅客此类病例，在考虑限制……

变化 3：从双重变异到三重变异
在印度这一波疫情的背后，一种被称为 " 双重变异体 "（double mutant variant）的 B.1.617 变异新冠病毒引发关注。
据《卫报》报道，这种变异病毒有两个不同寻常的突变—— E484Q 和 L425R。E484Q 和南非、巴西发现的变异病毒突变一样，L425R 和美国加州发现的变异病毒突变一样。
分析认为，两种突变将导致这一变异病毒比此前的病毒传染性更强，甚至影响疫苗的效用。这种变异病毒正在印度快速扩散，一些卫生专家认为它是印度疫情大规模暴发的一个主要因素。但也有专家指出，这一论断尚缺乏足够的证据支撑。
另据《商业内幕》杂志报道，印度科学家在一些感染患者身上还发现了两种 " 三重变异病毒 "，这两种变异病毒很可能是从此前发现的双重变异病毒进化而来，其传染性或将更强。
印度国家生物学基因组学研究所研究员 Sreedhar Chinnaswamy 对《印度时报》称，新发现的一种三重变异病毒还包含 E484K 突变，这意味着即使感染过其他变异病毒，甚至接种过疫苗的人也有可能再次感染。
