On Tuesday evening another student, Janaria Muhammad, was killed by a gunshot. These tragic deaths came just weeks after Justin Taylor, also our student, died from a gunshot. These losses are heartbreaking, and I want to extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends of Justin, Stanley and Janaria. All three students attended Austin-East High School, and I also want to express my sympathies and support to the entire Austin-East family.
