I do not entirely agree with what Johnny said - Nathan’s performance does not only showcase his technical geniuses that no other skater in this world is even close to, but also his ability of convincingly artistic interpretations of a piece of minimalism music that is not is so popular and not so easy. Beneath his simple, calm and gentle surface, lies explosively powerful emotions and volumes of sparks of beautiful surprises. Depth, elegance, power and drama all together, I feel extremely blessed to live in the era of Nathan Chen as a skating fan.
