Long had a bad day so he went on to kill 8 Asian women. Baker had a bad day so it’s ok for him to find excuse for the murder and to defame the victims when their bodies were still warm. No apology. No consequence. Only excuses. I believe that Capitan Baker and the Sheriff’s department, who have been trivializing the damage, owe the 8 victims, their family and the Asian community an apology. I’m writing to you for your help in looking into the issue. I was deeply offended by Capt. Jay Baker''s remarks and behavior. Jay Baker was defending the serial killer publicly, trying to humanize the serial killer more than the victims. What he said is absolutely unacceptable as someone with authority. He is a disgrace as a law enforcer. What he behaved publicly is a highlight of his incompetence in his daily work. What he said and behaved publicly is a huge damage to the image of the Cherokee County nation wise. He should be fired immediately so the public can hold the rust on the county's board of commissioners.
