Part-time online ESL teaching Opportunities Titan International English focuses on delivering high-end quality ESL education to Chinese students aged 3 and above, especially those in underprivileged areas. Through online and offline teaching delivered by devoted teachers, Titan strives to “bring the world into the class and teach the class for the world”. It helps kids access the most elite language and literature education enjoyed in the first tier cities in China and even the world. Native English Speakers (US, UK, Aus, NZ, SA, Ireland, Canada) with neutral, standard pronunciation; 2. Associate degree and above; 3. TESOL or TEFL or other English teaching certificates; 4. Officially certified teachers preferred. Part-time Job location: Online Teaching Materials: Our World series by National Geographic, Oxford Phonics World, chapter books - fiction and non-fiction, and others from world-renowned publishing houses. Teaching Methods:online real-time interactive teaching with Classin platform Job descriptions 1) To hand in lesson plans at least one week before the class. 2) To Deliver online at least 2 hours per week, including but not limited to regular class, open class and pilot/testing class as well as tutoring. 3) To teach kids (age 3+ ) conversational English, English reading, story-telling, or English literature. Normally there will be 1-6 kids in one virtual class. Each session should be 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Service commitment of at least 6 months, and long term commitment of more than one year preferred. Salary and Benefits: 1）30 US dollars per hour; 2）After successful completion of 100 teaching hours, with fewer than 5 cancellations of classes, the salary shall be raised to 40 US dollars per hour from the 101st on; the salary shall be raised to 50 US dollars per hour from the 201st on; Requirements and Expectations: 1) With the textbook and teacher’s reference books provided, the teacher should get well prepared and submit lesson plans one week earlier than the class starts; 2) Enter the virtual classroom at least 5 minutes earlier than the thirty-minute class begins and at least 10 minutes earlier than the 60-minute class begins to familiarize with the materials and get ready for teaching; 3) Attend pedagogical or other work-related training as arranged by employer, though the hours spent to this end should not be more than 1/10 of the teachers’ weekly teaching hours; 4) The candidates will need to: - be able to deliver high-quality engaging classes; - Teach phonics, reading, story-telling, public speaking, or others as designated; - accept comparatively fixed Working Hours: 30 or 60 minutes per class, but the teacher is supposed to enter the virtual class earlier as mentioned above to familiarize with the materials and make sure the audio, video and platform function well; Classes are usually delivered during 6:45pm-9:00 pm Beijing time during weekdays, and 8:00am-9:00pm on weekends - the teaching time & the details will be discussed based upon teacher’s availability when teaching agreement is signed.
