直接给旧绿卡就可以，同时申请新绿卡。 不需要盖章，也不需要等新绿卡。
再说一次，上面很多贴子说的都不对，没有什么过期时间限制，不需要马上有新绿卡，直接接OFFER就行。

绿卡过期身份不受影响，如果不换工作，绿卡过期都不必知会老板，换工作确实麻烦，因为新雇主按规定需要核实他的工作许可，过期绿卡通常不被接受作为有效证明。 file延期之后，如果绿卡过期不到一年，那么收据是提供一年延期的，跟过期绿卡一起可以作为永居证明，如果过期太久了，只能去要个I-551了

一般是绿颜色的硬纸。就是不透光的。就叫secure
这个我不同意。 绿卡过期不renew，那么stay就是非法的，找工作也是不可以的。继续上班也是不可以的。只不过现在管得松。
永居身份不因为绿卡过期而失去，除非自己放弃或者犯法被取缔，或者居留境外太长导致移民局认为你不再以美国为永久居住地而取缔。当然我说的是十年的普通绿卡，条件绿卡不了解。 你可以自己搜一下。

什么叫做没有加注的SSN卡？能解释一下吗
应该是看SSN卡上有没有一行字写着是要有DHS authorization才能工作一类的，如果有这行字，入职的时候要同时出示绿卡和SSN。没写的话就是可以work for any employer，就可以只出示SSN。我的理解是这样，错了还请指正

公司主要是关心你能不能工作，而不是关心你有没有绿卡。 你的身份是能工作，没有有效证件。HR可以用旧卡去做核实工作，或者用其他证件比如SSN替代。当然相对麻烦，碰上HR新人不好办，最好有新卡。

怎么才能说服HR 可以用过期绿卡+receipt 和I797来证明合法工作身份呀？....好像基本上他们看到绿卡过期就不啃声了，就是没有戏了
网上看到过类似的， 绿卡过期又不影响永久，只是不能国际旅行。和HR提一下，不会对新工作申请有啥影响。
