这个案子太简单了，就看警察会不会去认真办案。LAPD破案是这样的， 要么伤者就是凶手伪造现场，这个如果没有外面break in的痕迹，就嫌疑很大。但是美国警察经常死脑筋要证据，这可能要等几十年年直到这人忍不住透露给了好友被报案。 要么伤者幸存下来指认凶手，这个就很简单了。如果凶手是陌生人，就会画个像到处张贴一番。有线索就能抓住嫌疑犯，没有线索就变成冷案了。等凶手再次犯案看能不能两个案子联系起来。 如果伤者也死了没有留下线索，警察可能会在现场取到指纹或者凶手毛发脚印DNA之类的，然后要么破案，要么等十几年几十年直到凶手在其他地方犯案被抓DNA被输入数据库。
总之，美国警察破案就一个字，等。

没抢东西直接进卧室杀小孩不动其他房间的人然后后门逃走，如果说的这些是真的，要不就是很清晰的谋杀，要不就是嗑药乱杀人。没有强迫进入痕迹则前者更有可能。不排除买凶。
