wellness 和 sickness 的保险是不一样的。wellness包疫苗体检驱虫等常规检查，一般没有waiting period。这个的确什么时候买都没关系。买了应该就生效。 sickness的保生病，accident是需要vet的体检报告的，买后2周才生效。 我不清楚狗没到还没体检过的话报险公司怎么算rate或pre-existing condition, 那个要根据兽医体检报告，也许你可以先买了然后狗来了交vet报告？但是我推测就算先买也要等兽医报告后才生效吧？ 你可以问问保险公司。 这是个例子，怎么操作的 In order to satisfy your pet insurance policy terms and conditions, your pet needs to have been seen by a licensed veterinarian in the past 12 months and you need to have access to the exam record.
