老师资历： Ph.D., has 14 years of experience assessing and teaching writing and reading to grades 5-12. In addition to her work as a junior high and high school instructor for nine years, she also served as Director of Writing at MacMurray College and Manchester University. She is currently a rater for the national AP English exam.
-Activities and games focus on phonics, phonemic awareness, decoding words, vocabulary, reading fluency and comprehension, as well as our written and verbal skills.
Focus on taking students to the next level in determining main ideas of a written passage, understanding concepts such as cause and effect, and beginning to expand their ability to express themselves. Through these activities, students will improve their reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
Students will read a teacher-selected novel that will help them develop a deeper understanding of literature and themselves. Students will be able to identify key literary elements such as author’s purpose, theme, and characterization. Students will also improve writing, reading, comprehension, research, and critical-thinking skills.
