美国法制社会。法官如果觉得道歉有用就会放一马，不坐牢，搞个社区服务100小时什么的。

我认为他认错和ask for leniency是好事， 但法律也必须有法律的尊严。 第一次犯错和认错的人可以用最轻的惩罚来办吧。 如果他没抢没偷，那么最多也就是illegal tresspassing之类的小罪，可能j以罚款，probation或者community service等等解决.

道歉得挺诚恳的。在国会山里的时候，不光自己没打砸抢，还没忘了提醒其他小伙伴们不要搞破坏， 而且还主动帮助了受伤的人。
傻是傻了点，但本质还是个好孩子，本吃瓜路人建议从轻发落。

判吧，这种就是普通的trasspasing，和闯了national park 禁地是一样的。
检察官也没啥好charge的，而且也道歉了。
这跟在中国闯了中南海完全两个概念。

的确是，他们如果有这个担心，应该报告警方或者辞职。 这就像陪审团里的人如果因为信息泄露，家里人收到威胁，正常手续是法官会问这个人还能不能在这个情况下公正的做决定，不行的话就推出陪审团。
