新公司401k，没看懂。

My interpretation: You need to contribute 6% in order to get company's 4.5% match. You can only start contributing to 401k after working at the company for 6 month.

你理解的没错，你要拿至少6%，公司会match 4.5%， 4.5%是封顶。

我们公司是2个月后就可以开始。

上六个月班后的第一个工资，你交的头6%的工资，公司给你4.5%。 其实就是给你4.5%的工资，只要你交够6%.

公司的话写的有点不规范，不过意思就是your employer matches 75% of whatever you contribute … but no more than 4.5% of your salary total. 

你公司的英文是谁写的啊。 我以前公司是match 25% of the first 6%就是match 1.5%

现在的公司越来越cheap了。。。。还要180天才match

难道有一入职就直接match的？

难道不都是吗？

公司MATCH 的不计入$19,500 里。假设你税前32.5万刀，你存6%（一年正好$19,500)，公司MATCH $14,625.

你付Base的6% ，公司付你base 的4。5% 你可以超过6% ，比如10%，只要不超过每年$19500、但是 公司最多付你基本工资的4。5% 不会再多了

Probably not applicable to you but say if someone makes 100K salary and has a 40% bonus payable in month 7 (40K) and he/she chooses to contribute 50% of the bonus (20K), the employer is not going to calculate the month 7 match obligation with your 20K contribution. The wordings encourage even contribution through the year so folks do not get the bonus and get the full year match and then leave.

There are reasons why they don't say that and if they do, one with a large bonus will be able to get company's full year match with one large contributon (bonus) in first month of eligibilty.
