即使没得管,也应该有权知道银行密码,TIAA 账号密码,看看信用卡账单吧。
可以定期做一下家庭财务报表,比如半年一次,夫妻联合财产以及各人财产分别列出, 列出家庭现金包括哪家银行以及数额,投资/养老金/pension的账户网址和现值,记录房产市值和剩下的房债数额,记录每月的收入和花销, 这样家里财务状况一目了然,也可以对投资的效果心中有数
我过去的老板死了,他老婆找了两年都没找到。我知道他有,而且非常肯定。因为那天他买了人寿保险,做好will了以后拿了个folder在我面前得瑟,还和我说他做好了要我也做一个。

401k, life insurance 默认受益人是spouse。公司HR 会主动联系。
如果是旅行意外的话,看看信用卡有没有保险可以claim。

你确定吗?前段时间不是有讨论401k如果以前受益人是前妻,没改的话,最终还是前妻的。
这是个好办法,只要定期交钱的就一定能查到纪录。 当然,事先沟通好就更好办了。
