During this pandemic, WeChat plays an even more important role in helping families stay connected and updated. The Institute of International Education states that there are 360,000+ Chinese students who currently study abroad here. The US Census Bureau stated that as of 2018, there were about 4.5 million Chinese Americans in the US. If WeChat were to be banned, almost 5 million people would be severely impacted. For the vast majority of them, this is the only effective way that they are able to keep in touch with their families. In this regard, WeChat should not be banned. Thank you.

为什么披着马甲发这个贴？如果担心就不要发贴啊。不用微信可以其他方式和国内联系的。现在华人得坚定立场一致对付中共，不要添乱

第一美国政府没有要ban微信的通讯功能 只是要ban微信的交易功能 第二美国人用微信的不多，哪怕美国华人用微信也是为了跟国内的人交流 第三美国华人只能通过微信跟国内的人交流的主要原因不是美国政府
