"We want to be together," said Emch, 81, who lives in Pompano Beach, Fla. He said he will take a COVID-19 test and is fully prepared to self-isolate for 14 days — if Canada would just let him in. "It's important that I come now ... because of how fragile her life is."

中国不许外籍入境中国，包括中国人的外籍配偶和子女。美国是允许美国人的外籍配偶和子女直接入境美国，其他外籍人员需要在除中国外的第三方国家待满14天才能进入美国。相比之下，美国的政策人性化多了。

人家没乱讲，外籍在疫情之前的中国签证现在确实不能进中国，这是有官方通知的，并没有说错，疫情之后还是有拿到中国签证的，比如德国高管商务团，还有些人道主义签证。另外现在持中国永居卡的外籍也有一些了也可以入境
