很多媒体说是教育部给写的修改版 “Early this month, President Trump pushed federal health officials to ease coronavirus guidelinesfor schools and threatened to withhold federal funding from districts that don’t reopen for in-person learning. Mr. Trump said at the time that he disagreed with an earlier version of guidelines the CDC had devised, saying the agency was “asking schools to do very impractical things.” Many doctors, however, say it is important for local communities to have new infections under control before students return to classrooms, especially with Covid-19 cases surging across many parts of the country.
“symptoms are a better gauge of how infectious someone is so they are not kept unnecessarily isolated and excluded from work or other responsibilities."
“The best available evidence indicates that COVID-19 poses relatively low risks to school-aged children," the statement reads. Children appear to be at lower risk for contracting COVID-19 compared to adults. To put this in perspective, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as of July 17, 2020, the United States reported that children and adolescents under 18 years old account for under 7 percent of COVID-19 cases and less than 0.1 percent of COVID-19-related deaths," it adds.

You will be surprised how many ppl choose differently haha

Can’t agree more.
不仅是坚持不让戴口罩,而且: 1,疫情初期没能履行监控全球疫情的职责(funding被砍), In 2018, the CDC stopped epidemic prevention activities in 39 out of 49 countries, including China, after the Trump administration refused to reallocate money to a program that began as part of the government's response to the Ebola outbreak in 2014. At that time, Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the CDC from 2009 to 2017, said the move "would significantly increase the chance an epidemic will spread without our knowledge and endanger lives in our country and around the world."
