同意这个解释。我们这儿GT program的录取一般都要测智商并综合学习成绩。
以前加州这里有个 GATE，gifted and talented education program, 通常是小学的时候老师推荐几个学生，让他们考个试，达标了就可以进去了。进去之后每个学区根据自己的resource决定如何培养这些娃们，多数是 weekend 去上几堂课外，也有学区的老师特别给一些比较难的功课给这些娃们。
本来都是学校跟老师幕后操纵，很低调很 humble 的一个 program。结果中国虎妈们都在争先恐后的让自己的娃进这个 program，不但让娃们补习去考这个试，老师不推荐或者考不上，还喜欢做 appeal 闹事。
后来大部分学区都取消了这个 GATE，sugar coat 成基金不够，其实局内人都知道是怎么回事。
高智商是上帝的赐与，高智慧是经过努力学习和生活的锤练而得到的。高智商有可能被浪费，因为毕尽是赐与的，来的容易所以不被珍视。高智慧是自己努力的结果，深度随日月增进，是不会浪费流失的。高智商和高智慧结合在一起，那这个人不成功都说不过去了。
