禁枪禁的只能是良民手里用来保命的枪。黑帮会因为你有禁枪法律就乖乖交枪了？不说黑帮，当年中国云南横甸事件，后来这么平息的知道吗？直接派炮兵用榴弹炮把那个村子炸平了的。那个村子才几把枪啊？
美国民间有两亿多三亿只枪，如果禁枪是要把所有的枪收回到政府手里的话，估计将是一场持续多年的内战。要知道很多民间持枪者本身就是退役军警。现役警察很多都是自己买枪的。禁枪令一发，第一个不干的是当地的警察局长（真实事件，刚刚发生的哈，自己查Virginia gun law controversy，州政府被左棍把持通过立法以后，大部分底下的郡都宣布自己是gun sanctuary)。

芝加哥不是控枪，是禁枪吧

芝加哥（严格说是Cook County)自己有更严格的法律限制，所以在芝加哥市区住的人不能持有从弹簧刀到大炮之类的武器，包括AR15半自动步枪。但是手枪是完全合法的，上课考试通过以后良民可以申请隐蔽持枪证，随身携带防身的手枪。
这次BLM暴乱芝加哥的中国城商家没有受到冲击损失，就是靠了芝加哥义警团（Neighborhood Watch，主要是在中国城长大的华裔第二代)和芝加哥枪友会（60多位枪友参加义务值班警戒）在各个路口警戒监视。来探路的暴徒发现华人市区有准备有武装就没来了。
