不要黑我们大芝加哥哈。你们纽约州对持枪的人士都不友好，芝加哥地区除了Cook County和几个少数左残村子，AR随便买，100发弹鼓是标配。你看芝加哥北面的郊区治安不是好得很？

Evanston那一带治安不好主要是Rogers Park，枪击案比南面还是少多了。另外Evanston按我的标准不算郊区，还通地铁呢（L), 怎么能算郊区？郊区至少得坐Metra去城里才算。
你是想说University of Chicago吗？其实那里治安还行，只要不过61街往南就好。以前当地雇了很多人（不少AA)随街站岗，不知道现在还有没有了。基本上每个街区都能报警呼救。

纽约时报先是举了一些黑人被杀的例子，表示了同情。 然后说专家认为不能简单的把一年的犯罪情况跟前些年比，而且夏天犯罪就是会多一些。 然后说在民众大规模抗议警察暴力和种族歧视之后，升高的枪击率引来人们对未来警察系统的思考。 虽然nyc砍了警察的钱，减少警察雇人的计划，把学校的安保移除了，但是人们普遍认为这远远不够。 很多人质疑警察报告的枪击数据存在弄虚作假的情况。 虽然警察说他们需要更多的钱和资源。但是很多人包括一些专家，认为警察的工作很缓慢，做的不好很失职。警察的辩解面对外界的批评和defund the police的诉求，显得很苍白无力。
