Two cargo planes chartered by Canadian governments to procure medical gear from China were forced to return home empty this week amid traffic jams at and around an airport in Shanghai as countries from around the world rush for supplies to fight COVID-19.
One of the planes was chartered by the federal government, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday, and another had been hired by a provincial government that he declined to identify. The federally chartered aircraft landed back in Canada on Monday.

In Europe and US if a manufacturer wants to stick N95 or FFP2 marking on their masks then he/she has to jump through shitloads of quality assurance hoops in order to get their product certified and penalities for non compliance are heavy.
In China this is simply not the case, KN95 exists only on paper, there is no consequence if you stick KN95 markings on a piece of toilet paper since nobody is enforcing the standard. I'd imagine this was the plan from the start, make a deceptive standard that looks similiar to N95 to an untrained eye and then unload garbage to Europe and US with little to no consequence. 100% deliberate.

有生产线的。温哥华有家生产宠物用品的公司，从中国买了2条生产线，除了医用口罩也买了生产N95的设备。而且BC省自己也生产N95口罩用的木浆。目前一天能产10万个医用口罩，等N95设备调好后一天能产一万个N95。
但是，但是哈，光有原浆。所以原材料的供应就成了被掐脖子的问题。

这个太正常了， 现在生产厂家和物流的效率完全没保证。只要链条有一个环节出问题就会DELAY。你看看现在物流的速度就知道了。

土豆也算是无奈，加拿大需要很多PPE，自己生产一些但不够，大头只能从中国买。中国政府历来对加都是瞧不上眼的，所以随时都能掐脖子。土豆每次被问到关于中共的事情都说加拿大目前第一要事是抗疫，别的以后再说。美国毕竟跟加关系铁也有底线，一般事情都能商量，美国再怎么样不会用PPE来威胁加拿大，但是中国一定会。
