We will be spending the long weekend in our homes. Some of us will be alone; some with immediate family. We will be connected on phones and through video and we will all be talking about what is happening in the world and when life will get back to normal.
This weekend will be a good time to pause and reflect on what is still good in the world, especially when so much around us has changed.
We are seeing the best emerging in our communities. We are seeing individuals and local businesses rallying together to support those in the most needled by our heroic health-care workers and other care providers who are working around the clock to care for so many who need help.
Our company across the country remain open to serve all of you in our communities and serve our essential front-line workers. More than just serving our communities, our 1,500 locations owners have been giving back to our communities as they have always done for xxx years.
Mxxxxx is providing daily xxxxx at a homeless shelter set up by the xxxxxxxx Community Health Centre in the local high school.
Cxxxxxx have been dropping off xxxxxxxx twice daily to the xxxxx Long Term Care Home.
Gxxxxxxxx has been supporting local fire and police dispatchers with deliveries of xxxxx, as well as donating hundreds of gift cards for The xxxxxxx food bank.
Jxxxxxxxxxxx has been supporting the health-care workers running the COVID-19 assessment centres with xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
We want you to know that the whole xxxxxx leadership team is guided by a simple principle of doing whatever it takes and whatever you would expect from hardworking, good people.
