Howard claimed that “one of the key reasons for the decrease in the growth of the cases is a massive country-wide community initiative to create and wear home-made masks.” In just 10 days, the country went from no mask usage to nearly 100 percent usage, with nearly all the masks made at home with easily accessible materials, like old t-shirts. As many as nine people have died from the infection that originated in China. Howard claimed that in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan as theses countries are using masks to prevent the spread of the disease. “In South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan there is no lock-down. Yet COVID-19 is being controlled in these countries. How has this happened? One of the key reasons is that mask-wearing in public is ubiquitous and socially expected,” Howard said. As of Sunday morning, there were 2,669 cases of COVID-19 in the country, with 13 dead.

早就说过了，随便什么捂住口鼻都有用。只有欧美的智障政客“科学家”误导民众口罩无用，害死多少人。
傲慢又自大，害死自己国民。
如今的美国主流社会已经被反智人士占领。只能靠自己的智商甄别。
美国市面上根本就没有，怎么抢
口罩不够用的地方都不会宣传要人人戴口罩。明显不过的理由。
3亿多人，如果一天一片口罩，每天都要3亿多片，去除不需要每天戴的人，数量还是比美国现在能弄到的口罩数量差非常多。

现在next-door 上都发起了自己做口罩的活动了，然后分发给别人。
有块布挡着飞沫就比没有好！
而且如果人人带口罩的话，本身空气中的飞沫就少了。

用不了那么多，且不说很多shelter in place的几天也出不了一次门，而且可以循环用，像加州这种大太阳天，口罩挂着晒一下午过几天又可以用了。 再不济围巾捂捂口鼻也好，和人接触，室内和公共交通戴就可以了，去空旷的地方骑车遛狗这种如果能保证单独行动应该不用戴。
就跟母乳教似的，我觉得这些打着科学的旗号的偏执狂有时候也挺可怕的，一个类似冷了就加衣，饿了就吃饭这么简单的问题还要科学论证来论证去的，问题是科学论证了半天其实也无法得出绝对的结论

N95 (或更高级别的N99)与普通口罩的主要区别在于其对于不同粒径颗粒物的过滤效率，不在于过滤的物质区别，而其过滤效率的提高是由更高级别的过滤材料以及口罩的高密合性实现。而外科手术口罩相比于普通口罩则主要是在外侧加入了防水层，保护医师免受手术过程中的体液飞溅感染。
靠说谎来掩盖问题，就不可能解决问题，口罩不够可以先自己做，可以政府投钱加大生产。中国为什么现在口罩够了还能出口？

肯定防护不如N95,
但是只要人人都带，空气中的飞沫病毒肯定总体大大减少。
