给妈妈延期求助

请问大家，我妈妈的i94 3月13日到期，2月底已经帮她申请延期，用的理由就是Corona Virus outbreak in China，但是我们不在武汉，飞机没有被取消，只是因为担心当时的形势，才决定延期。今天收到移民局的补件通知要求我们重新递交延期理由，具体内容如下：
To be eligible for the requested extension of stay, you must establish that the proposed activities areconsistent with the B classification. You indicated that “I am applying for an extension to stay becauseit is currently unsafe to travel to China due to the Novel Coronavirus. However, the reason for yourB-2 extension request is not consistent with the B visa classification. To be eligible for the requestedextension of stay, you must establish that the proposed activities are consistent with the Bclassification. Consequently, submit a statement and evidence showing that you attempted to go backto China, however your trip was canceled due to travel restrictions.

我觉得可能是我当时写statement用的措辞不对，但是现在也不知道怎么修改，因为我延期的理由主要还是因为Corona Virus，觉得回去的路上有风险，还是待在家里最保险，但是我们当时的飞机并没有被取消，无法提交证明。

我现在有如下想法，请大家给我一点建议：

1. 主要延期理由还是因为Corona Virus，希望妈妈能和我们在一起，等疫情稳定再回去。
2. 还想带她出去旅游，等到美国疫情稳定，想带她去Vigas和其他一些地方。
3. 附上回程机票，之前因为不确定疫情什么时候好转，并没有买回程机票，在信中也说明了原因。但是今天火速买了8月底的回程机票，觉得到时情况应该已经稳定了。

请大家帮我给看看，看看还有什么资料可以补充，如果可以帮忙写一下英文更是不胜感激。

following~~马上也要准备延期了。 you must establish that the proposed activities are consistent with the B classification。这句话啥意思？什么是B classification?是说延期的理由必须同B1/2签证的目的一样吗？

老妈年纪大，政府行政号召老人在家带着。现在回中国生病的风险太大。不要说旅行的是。如果你妈妈有老人病就把医生的证明一块寄去。祝好运

所以现在的流程是交表格——通知打指纹——通知需不需要补寄材料——等结果吗？ 公婆想要延期，是四月底的航班，航班没有取消，上次来已经延期过一次了。这次他们怕回去路上感染，不知道这种情况被拒的风险大不大呢。

你的statement确实会引起一些误会，比如你写travel to China，都会造成误解，正确应该是return back to China。 我当时申请写的是原计划什么时候回国，但是因为病毒原因，回国不安全，且回国要被隔离14天，老人家没有人陪伴非常不安全，所以申请延期待疫情缓和再回国，计划夏天回国，因为科学研究，病毒在夏天活性会变低。

好怕怕 我爸妈跟lz妈妈情况差不多 也是同样理由同一时间申请的 还没收到任何消息

我们打完指纹，还没有收到任何消息。

请问现在延期都要打指纹吗

同需要延期，四月的机票，但回国集中隔离14天（也回不了家在），机场和飞机上也危险。目前倾向于延期，暑假回国。

现在以新冠为理由延期都这么难了？ 移民局还真是不近人情 我们2月10号邮寄的申请，3月初打的指纹，目前还没收到过补件要求。 不过我们申请的时候提交了新买的机票。并且以前从未延期过。

LZ可以说原定的旅行计划因为疫情无法成行，希望疫情好转以后再去美国XX地旅行

这是你自己功课没做足， 延期的首要理由就是要写何时回国， 延期最多6个月，所以买张可以退的机票在6个月后的最后一天就行了， 然后一点问题也没有， 批准后，就把机票退了， 然后，爱什么时候回国就买张机票。

延期买回程机票是必须的。 各个diy statement都是这么写的。 凡事多做功课。
